CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY PROGRAM
Each year too many children suffer from abuse and all too often they are victimized by the very adults charged with protecting and providing for them. Unfortunately, in their attempts to come to the aid of these children, our criminal and civil justice systems can inadvertently cause additional suffering to child victims and their families.
Each morning the Hunt County Child Advocacy Center opens its doors to children who are in need of hope and healing; children who were abused and destroyed by the people who should love them most. Daily, these children remind us why our work is so vital.
Our vision of success is improving the lives of abused children in Hunt County and providing regional leadership on child abuse issues.
Volunteering for the Child Advocacy program is such a rewarding experience. Come share your time and talents with the children and their non-offending family members. Two or four hours a week will make a difference in a child's life. Share your time and they will share your heart. Learn more of the many Volunteer Opportunities.
