The Hunt County Rape Crisis Center provides crisis and long-term services to victims of sexual assault and child abuse.

Crisis services include:
  • On site chronic sexual assault forensic examinations of children
  • Hospital accompaniment for sexual assault exams
  • Forensic interviews
  • Law enforcement accompaniment
  • Assistance filing Crime Victims Compensations forms
Long-term services include:
  • Investigation coordination
  • Court room accompaniment
  • Follow-up
  • Case management
Therapeutic services include:
  • Professional counseling
  • Play therapy for children
  • Participation in a certified pet therapy program
Other services include include:
  • 24 hour hotline
  • Assistance with Texas VINE program
  • Victim Impact statements
  • Community resources, referrals, and information
  • Education and awareness presentations, programs and events throughout the community
  • MDT, SART, and DEC facilitation
  Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)  
The center facilitates the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), a group of professionals dedicated to investigate allegations of child abuse and sexual assault, while ensuring that the best interest of the victims are being served.
  Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)  
The center facilitates a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), collaboration among agencies involved in the evaluation and investigation of sexual assault, to provide thorough evidentiary examinations, and to address needs and coordinate services to sexual assault victims/survivors.
  Drug Endangered Children (DEC)  
The center facilitates the Hunt County Drug Endangered Children (DEC), a group of professionals and concerned citizens who advocates for interventions on behalf of child in volatile drug environments and assists communities in building collaborative, multidisciplinary Drug Endangered Children (DEC) alliances.
